Galley Bay Antigua has 98 guest rooms set in 40 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, providing a real sense of privacy. Most accommodations are tucked into the landscape along the beach, so your next swim is just a few steps across the sand.
Gaugin Cottage – with twin palm-thatched ‘rondovals’ containing a bedroom in one and bathroom in the other, linked to a terrace with private splash pool
Superior Beachfront Room – Semi-detached single storey with vaulted ceilings set directly on the beach
Deluxe Beachfront Room – Spacious room that is either on the ground or first floor and directly on the beach, with a larger bedroom and bathroom and terrace or balcony
Premium Beachfront Room – Luxurious ground or first floor split-level suites with a sunken living area, free Wi-Fi, beach shower and stunning ocean views.
Deluxe Beachfront Spa Room – Spacious rooms that are either ground or first floor and are set directly on the beach with a larger bedroom and bathroom and terrace or balcony. Guests can enjoy three 45-minute spa treatments per person from a specially designed spa menu, within a 7 night all inclusive spa stay (five 45-minute spa treatments per person on a 10 night all inclusive spa stay).

This is an adult orientated hotel, with no guests under 16 allowed. Galley Bay Antigua is around 20 minutes from the airport on the sunset side of the island. The suites, cottages, and guest rooms on 40 waterfront acres, are all within easy access to the many amenities of the resort while providing privacy in peaceful, tropical surroundings. Every week the general manager hosts a cocktail party where you can mingle, get to know the staff and your fellow guests. There is also a weekly Caribbean BBQ night on the beach. Of course no Caribbean holiday would be complete without the music of the islands. Galley Bay Antigua makes it a point to keep you entertained with the best local musicians, who bring island inflected live music to the resort each night.

Sea Grape is Galley Bay’s main restaurant and offers a sumptuous buffet or an a la carte menu which delights daily. There is always something to please everyone with all time favourites as well as the chef’s weekly specials. Gaughin for sophisticated global cuisine, here you can enjoy candlelit dinners infused with flavours from West Indies, Pacific Rim and Europe. Ismay’s, named after one of Antigua¹s most renowned citizens, the menu includes the best of the Caribbean with a refined twist.
Barefoot Grill, here you can enjoy lunch and snacks all afternoon, where the chef prepares all your favourites for a relaxed easy meal.
Enjoy a cooling break from the sun by day or a satisfying nightcap at any one of Galley Bay Antigua’s 4 open air lounges. All serve a wonderful selection of cooling Caribbean cocktails, premium brand drinks and wines by the glass, along with non-alcoholic beverages. Make a point of stopping by the distinctive Tee Pee Bar, a poplar gathering spot, with its high peaked roof. It’s famous for the Galley Bay Special, a delightful frozen mixture of light rum, coconut cream, grenadine and fresh banana. The Gauguin Bar offers a quiet and romantic setting. Ismay’s Bar is nestled in the gardens and boasts a superb collection of fine wines.
There is plenty to do at Galley Bay Antigua, what could be better than the warm, inviting turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea filled with sea creatures of all kinds. On the beautiful, three quarter mile crescent of sand, the water is a fantastic natural playground for a host of non-motorised water-sports. Try wind-surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, Hobie cat and Sunfish sailing. There is plenty to do outside the water as well from tennis, croquet, table-tennis, to making use of the fully equipped gym. Take a run along the jogging track or hire a bike. Beyond Galley Bay Antigua, a host of exciting adventures are all within easy reach. Take a Jeep adventure into the rainforest, play golf, or discover some of the island’s 365 beautiful beaches. Go deep sea fishing, or cruise on a catamaran. For the more adventurous do a zipline under the rainforest canopy. A suspension bridge over the water, leads to the start of the 9 zip lines with the longest at over 350 feet, suspended over the glorious gorge in Fig Tree Drive.
