The Calabash Hotel Grenada comprises 30 suites arranged in a horseshoe around 8 acres of lush tropical gardens facing out towards the sea. Each suite is beautifully decorated, boasting its own balcony or patio with exquisite views of the surroundings. 5 luxury villas sit on the hilltop overlook the hotel. The Superior, Pool and Thorneycroft Suites are feature a whirlpool bath. Rooms are grouped by type into two storey buildings and all offer large balconies or terrace from which to enjoy the sensational views.

The hotel is 5 miles from St George’s, approx. 10 minutes’ drive from the airport. It is located on the white sands of L’Anse aux Epines, Prickly Bay. When it comes to dining, Calabash Grenada do it slightly differently. The resort believes that breakfast should be a relaxing experience, where you can climb out of bed and enjoy freshly cooked food on your balcony or terrace without the need to get dressed and head to a restaurant. You have the unique service at Calabash Grenada of à la carte breakfast, prepared to order by your personal maid and served on your patio or balcony.
Restaurants and Bars
The Rhodes Restaurant (Gary Rhodes’ first overseas fine dining restaurant) offers an à la carte menu, and is open for dinner. Bash Restaurant by Mark B is an open air restaurant serving local cuisine on the beach, open for lunch, snacks and tapas. Light bites are also served here from mid-morning to early evening. The Main Bar serves afternoon tea.
At Calabash Hotel Grenada there are a range of activities. There is a swimming pool, , tennis court and fitness centre and free non-motorised water sports, such as Hobie Cat sailing, paddle boards, kayaking and snorkeling. Motorised water sports available for an extra charge. ScubaTech dive and snorkel centre sits on the hotel’s beach. The Heaven & Earth Spa offers a range of holistic therapy including heavenly massage options. There are Cocktail parties, live music on certain nights, Sunday lunch and barbecues.
This hotel is closed 03 Aug-04 Oct. Children over 12 welcome from 15 January to 15 March. All children welcome throughout the rest of the year.
