Necker Island BVI is just north of Virgin Gorda. The island’s land is owned by Sir Richard Branson, Chairman of the Virgin Group and is probably one of the most famous private islands in the world. The whole island operates like a resort and can accommodate up to 28 guests (plus 6 children). Surrounded by the sparkling blue Caribbean sea of the British Virgin Islands, with coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches. Necker Island is a totally private retreat, one of the world’s most exclusive and luxurious holiday hotspots.

The Great House on Necker Island BVI is designed in Balinese style and boasts amazing panoramic views of the Caribbean, the Atlantic and neighbouring islands. Each of the 8 guest rooms has a balcony with stunning views, and all come with king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms. On the upper level is the stunning Master Suite, which is 1,500 sq.ft. and has been designed to take in panoramic views from practically every angle and includes a 2 person Jacuzzi, a stand alone outdoor bath and a kitchenette area with a fully stocked fridge. In addition is the Bunk room, which has 6 bunk beds and is a great favourite with children.

There are also 6 individually styled houses are built in authentic Balinese style, each one can accommodate one couple. 2 of these can be split into twins. They have shared pools and individual entertainment systems. Bali Beach House even has a zip-wire straight down to the beach.

All rooms have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Necker Island can be hired privately or alternatively, if you are not looking to hire the island all on your own, you can still enjoy the Necker experience during the celebration weeks when individual rooms can be booked by singles or couples in search of a fabulous island paradise.

About Necker Island British Virgin Islands
Catch a connecting flight from Antigua or Barbados to Tortola Airport, Beef Island, followed by a 30 minute transfer on the private launch to reach Necker Island BVI.  Helicopter transfers are also available, by prior arrangement, at an additional charge.

The Great House on Necker Island is the place where people come together, it has a large outdoor terrace with hammocks and comfortable sofas. Necker Island can be as informal or indulgent as you wish. 90 staff are on the island to look after you.

Restaurants and Bars
At the Great House there is a large dining table for everyone to gather round and enjoy the delicious food cooked by specially selected chefs. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and snacks whenever you are peckish, are all included in the cost. Where and when you eat is determined by your requirements.

Unlimited alcoholic drinks including quality champagne. There is also a fully stocked bar of your favourite drinks and up on the roof, the crow’s nest has amazing views over the island.

There is plenty to do on Necker Island. Water sports include kite-surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, power boat trips, snorkeling and, there is even a trampoline in the sea. There are games tables and an extensive choice of books, DVD’s and music. The swimming pool at the main beach on Necker Island is one of the most stunning pools in the British Virgin Islands. There is an infinity pool at the Great House, both pools have swim-up bars. You can also enjoy keep up with your fitness routine in the gym or fit in a relaxing treatment at Necker’s own Spa. Take a ride in the aero-submarine Necker Nymph, one of the world’s first underwater aircraft. Please note the Nymph has limited availability for hire, and comes at an additional cost.
