St. James’s Club Antigua is a complete holiday resort, providing facilities and activities to meet the needs of every guest. Although this laid back resort is quite large, it has an intimate feel and there are lots of quiet areas you can retreat to within the tropical gardens, as well as a 3 tiered adult’s only pool overlooking the bay. Daily shuttles to the capital city, St. John’s, are available Monday to Thursday In the evening relax with a cocktail and listen to a live band or take in the lively entertainment. There are 4 pools, an adult only 3 tiered pool, a children’s pool, The main reef deck pool, with a wrap around glass wind screen, it has its own Bar and a friendly atmosphere. Coco’s pool is the place to lounge or take an after meal dip, it is next to Coco Beach Restaurant and Bar. When you holiday at the St. James’s Club, exploring the under water world is easy, you just pick a snorkel and fins from the onsite Water-sports Centre and walk right in, or take one of the daily snorkeling trips. Those who would like to visit some of the 20 nearby dive sites or take a lesson can do so with Mamora Dive Centre. The nearby dive shop picks up guests on-site and can arrange one or two tank dives. Adventure and challenges await on the beach at Mamora Bay, for those who would like to try their hand at windsurfing, sailing or kayaking. Lessons and equipment are complimentary for guests during their stay at St. James’s Club Antigua. Paddling a kayak is smooth sailing on Mamora Bay, but if you’d like more of a workout, take your kayak to Coco Beach. The St. James’s Antigua Club Kidz Club is situated in the heart of the resort overlooking Coco’s Beach, purpose built, with a fenced in play area. There is also a covered games area located next to the main pool. For children aged 4 to 11. Parents with babies are free to use the facility and utilise the toys, movies and games. The experienced staff run a schedule of different activities throughout the day, with the schedule changing weekly, in a safe and fun environment. From art classes to nature trails and swimming activities, children of all ages are entertained. The opening times are from 9:15am to 11:00pm so parents can relax over dinner and leave the children in the care of the Kidz Club for dinner and a movie. A Kidz Menu is available for lunch and dinner and can be chosen by parents on a daily basis.
